Park City, Kansas – October 3, 2016 - On the strength of two feature victories on the season, including the famed “Hutchinson Grand Nationals” at the Kansas State Fairgrounds back in July, Chris Kratzer leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model division to 81 Speedway in Park City this coming Saturday night.
After ending 2015 as a co-champion, Kratzer holds a seemingly comfortable 145-point lead over veteran Delbert Smith while Dusty Leonard, Rob Day, Daniel Smith, Jimmy Segraves, Lyle Shepard, Ryan Gritt, Adam Popp and Robert Shepard all round out the top ten.
Lyle Shepard leads the way with five feature victories on the season while Kratzer and Delbert Smith (2) and Dusty Leonard also have reached victory lane.
This event will be the next-to-last for the tour, with the season series finale set for Salina Speedway in Salina, Kansas on Saturday night, October 22.
Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Grandstand admission prices are $20 for adults; children 6-10 just $5 while kid ages five and under will be admitted free. All pit passes will be $30.
