For the fifth straight year, the USAC Southwest Non-Wing Sprint Car Series will make a stop here at 81 Speedway as part of the annual Freedom Tour that brings the teams from Arizona and California on a trek into Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas for 4 straight nights of competition before heading back out west.
Rick Ziehl, of New Mexico picked up the win here at 81 Speedway during the tour's freshman year back in 2013. Mike Martin, of Yuma, Arizona has won twice here at 81 Speedway in 2014 & '15, with the Wingless Warriors getting rained out in 2016.
Gates will open at 5:30pm Friday night, race time is 7:30pm.
Joining the traveling sprint car teams will be the "Gladiators" of the NCRA Late Model Series.
